NAPS are crucial to every stay at home parent. It gives you time to either unwind, workout, and/or essentially do something for yourself. But what happens when your child doesn't nap?
It has been a journey to find a good rhythm for how the day should unfold. Personally, I love a loose routine. And honestly that worked wonders with my little girl. But now since we have had an addition to our family it has become seemingly more difficult. My daughter has now stopped napping, which has resulted in burnout by 5 PM. And if you are a parent you understand that putting a toddler to bed at 5 PM just AINT IT! So I find myself really struggling with her when it comes to the night routine (dinner, bath, teeth, sleep).
I have tried it all - going on long walks, nature hikes, playing for hours, building fairy houses, play dates, the park.....EVERYTHING! And don't get me wrong maybe out of the week she will take one nap. But having two kids - I really appreciate the power of the NAP! How are your kids napping?

Blessed to have that nap time!
No naps here!
It is a hit or miss for me
My daughter was born in the middle of 2021. From the start she was an AMAZING sleeper. I really cannot complain. My son, on the other hand, is very habitual with his naps. He will also nap for two hours in the afternoon EVERYDAY without fail. But what's hard for me is the fact that HE ONLY DOES CONTACT NAPS. There are a few times where I have successfully transferred him to the crib, but I can literally count those times on one hand and he is 7 months old. He will do a mini nap on car rides, or in the stroller without me holding him.
So please share how your naps are going with your little ones? Any tips or ideas to throw around to help a fellow mama out? LET ME KNOW!
Thank you!
Namaste
